Role Purpose

The Associate, Equity Index Product Management, will report to the Head of Equity Index Product Management, APAC, and will play a supporting role in the growth of FTSE Russell index utilization in the APAC region. This is an entry level position that provides broad ranging analytical support to the product community.

The Associate will be focusing on the providing supports on executing the FTSE Russell equity product roadmap for APAC, developing and improving equity indices to help drive the commercial success of the business. The Associate will partner closely with Research, Sales, and other teams across the organization to identify customer needs and appropriate product solutions, such as product or service enhancement, new products or businesses. The Associate will also supply to the analysis, evaluation and product vision of the index product offering.

The FTSE Russell Product Management team oversees all phases of the product lifecycle from inception through to introduction into the marketplace and management of the existing product lines. The team develops business cases and go-to-market strategies for products, compiles and evaluates research on the market’s requirements, and identifies enhancement to features and functionality. They also interface with a broad range of internal stakeholders and external clients.

Role Responsibilities
  • Delivers against work activities set by senior colleagues in the product community
  • Support the management of existing products and execution of product roadmap to expand and enhance FTSE Russell equity index product offering across the APAC region
  • Provides analytical support to the product group and may provide task specific support (e.g. revising Ground Rules, drafting marketing materials) if required
  • Provides and presents insight into latest industry trends
  • Implements minor enhancements to existing products / services under supervision
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders closely to resolve product issues and to ensure product development or enhancement progress is on track
Role Requirements
  • This is an Individual Contributor role
  • Degree or equivalent in a Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Engineering related field.
