Business Development Associate and Legal Counsel (Remote)

In this role, you’ll get to fill two roles within our group:

Business Development Associate

• Research new high-quality leads
• Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
• Research, develop, and implement new online sales opportunities
• Track, identify, and add qualified prospects to pipeline
• Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients
• Collaborate directly with one of the founders in charge of Sales and Marketing, as well as with our teams of designers, SEO, SEM, and digital marketing specialists
• Proactively manage the contacts database and assist with lead generation strategies
• Set goals and develop plans for business and revenue growth
• Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world.
• We estimate the Business Development Associate role should keep you busy 80-90% of the time (30-35 hours/week).

Part-time Legal Counsel

You may not enjoy this part as much (since you’ve switched your career focus), but it is a really important role that we need covered, that only warrants someone’s involvement part-time. In this role, you would:

• Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders
• Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
• Help review legal contracts related to employees (focus only on templates and not handle the actual preparation of all employment contracts), agreements with consulting clients, investments agreements, convertible notes, etc.
• Liaise with country specific counsel
• We estimate this workload at about 5-10 hours/week

What you’ll need to succeed:

• A true entrepreneurial spirit
• Major in Law with proven experience as a Legal Counsel in the business environment. There is no need for country specific law qualification because we need you to handle matters in all the countries we operate in.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Business Development Associate or similar role
• Demonstrated ability in lead generation and marketing for top high-level quality services
• Experience in tech, with a dash of software development know-how
• Experience in high-ticket sales and lead generation and nurturing
• Excellent skills in spoken and written English
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
