Category Management Team Lead | Procurement Operation (EH 1892)

Job content

• Act as a business partner on the assigned spend sub-categories.
• Engage business and corporate function leadership to understand and support business priorities.
• Collaborate closely with corporate functions (e.g., Legal, HR, Geographic Services) in the delivery of P+ services.
• Influence and adopt global strategies and tools used throughout the source to payment lifecycle. Collaborate with regional and global subject matter experts.
• Support the Sourcing and Category Management Lead.
• Perform category management, sourcing and supplier management to achieve optimization of supply and best value for money solutions considering quality, speed, total cost of ownership, risk and other factors.

• Bachelor’s degree holder
• Must have at least 7 years of experience in procurement/strategic sourcing and/or supplier management (operational and strategic experience)
• Must have at least 3 years of experience as Procurement Supervisor or Category Supervisor
• Expertise in bidding/ tendering processes, contracting and negotiating
• Experience in defining and implementing service levels, and delivering services within agreed SLAs
• Applicable knowledge and working experience in any of the categories below:
  • Contingent Labor
  • HR and Professional Services
  • Travel and Accommodation
  • IT & T
  • Marketing and Communications
  • Facilities and Services
• Specialist know-how in specific/several key categories
• Well-versed in standard procurement terms and conditions
• Quantitative skills – ability to understand (or develop) pricing models and analyze/interpret commercial proposals
• Experience with eSourcing tools (e.g. eRFx, eAuctions, Project and Contract Management Systems)
• Desired general knowledge of IQN, SAP, Ariba, and SAP/Fieldglass a plus
