JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
• A degree in Accountancy, Business Management, Banking in Finance, Marketing or equivalent
• Preferably Female
• Age from 25 to 45 yrs old
• With at least 2 - 3 years of experience
• Adept in computer applications
• Must be keen on details, dependable with value for high work ethics and customer service
• Possesses dynamic personality, able to deal with all levels in the organization
• With good interpersonal and communication skills
• With the highest degree of honesty and integrity
• Excellent in handling stress management and can work under pressure
• Has strong personality
• With Driving skills and restriction code 1 or 2 / A or BE
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE HEAD COLLECTION AND ASSETS RECOVERY DEPARTMENT (CARD)
1. Overall in-charge in the management and collection of all past due loans (performing and non-performing), loans in litigation, and other remedial measures;
2. In-charge of the management of Real and Other Properties Acquired (ROPA) accounts:
a) Consolidation of title (Transfer of Title and Tax Declaration) in the name of the Ban;
b) Disposal of ROPAs including negotiation with prospective buyers;
c) Sourcing out of an Asset Management Company for the management of ROPAs;
d) Pays the applicable taxes relative to the disposal of ROPAs, such as Capital Gains Tax (CGT), Documentary Stamp Tax (DST), Transfer Taxes, etc.;
e) Pays the Real Estate Taxes (RET) and other taxes for ROPA accounts, including procurement of insurance policy, whenever applicable;
f) Negotiates with the Buyer to shoulder applicable taxes in the disposal of ROPAs, whenever possible;
g) Assists the interested buyers with the ocular inspection of ROPA accounts;
h) Causes and monitors the preparation of contracts and other necessary legal documents relative to the sale of ROPAs, such as Deed of Absolute Sale, Dacion en Pago, Contract to Sell, etc., including the notarization thereof;
3. Seeks approval from the President, CRECOM, ExeCom, BOD requests for extension, restructuring, waiver of penalties, etc. by delinquent borrowers in coordination with the LOG Head and/or branch manager concerned;
4. Coordinates with the Bank’s Legal Counsel for the filing of collection cases and/or foreclosure proceedings and other appropriate legal action;
5. Prepares and submits reports on a regular basis on the status of PDLs and ROPAs for the information or that may be required by the Management;
6. Maintains and monitors Borrowers Credit File (BCF) for Loans in Litigation and ROPAs;
7. Keeps track of the Subsidiary Ledgers of PDL (above 90 days), Loans in Litigations, including small claims, ROPA accounts with improvements, and/or income-producing;
8. Recommends thru the Risk Assets and Review Committee (RarCom) collection strategies and action plans for issuance of policies and/or approval by the Board; and
9. Performs other tasks that may be assigned by the Board and the President from time to time.
