Under direction of the Finance Manager and Financial Controller, the Finance Operations Analyst is responsible for the consolidation and analysis of monthly financial reports for all the hotel properties managed by Chroma Hospitality. He / She will also support the Corporate Financial Controller in improving the accounting practices, as well as the policies and procedures of Property Finance Department. The position as a Manager level may perform other related work as directed

1. Maintains confidentiality of all documents, materials and all information in relation to assigned duties and other company matters.

2. Provide high level review of the consolidated monthly operational results of the properties (i.e. operations review template).

3. Review reports developed or modified by the Accounting Analyst.

4. Preparation, consolidation, analysis and monitoring of properties’ budgets.

5. Be the subject matter expert in finance related areas and identify process improvements opportunities.

6. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and financial performances.

7. Review processes, policies and procedures related to Finance Department to standardize the accounting practices and to help enhance workflow that were prepared by the Accounting Analyst.

8. Provide support to the Finance department of newly opened properties through ad-hoc tasking when requested by the management.

9. Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and conducts training as needed.

10. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

11. Perform other special projects and analyses as directed by management

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years experience in the field of financial reporting, financial analysis and/or auditing, preferably in hotel environment.
  • Accounting graduate with experience in any accounting related jobs.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Master’s Degree in Business is a definite advantage.
  • Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications.
  • Fluency in English both written and oral.
  • Amenable to work on-site in Alabang, Muntinlupa City
