The Head of Sales will take the lead role in planning, directing, and implementing Sales strategies and programs to achieve or exceed sales objectives for the Company.

The position will primarily be responsible for the following:

1. Leads/oversees activities of total Sales team

  • aDevelop and achieve periodic and annual sales targets. This includes not just revenue but also the corresponding gross margins of territories, channels, and customers
  • Identify opportunities in shopper, channel, and customers that can be captured
  • Fully accountable for the department’s performance against targets;
  • Leads implementation of launches, promotions, campaigns, calendar of activities.

2. Defines, communicates, and works to achieve business KPIs and targets.

3. Develop, designs, and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.

4. Analyze data-driven consumer and market trends.

  • Translates data into actionable strategies that will drive sales.

5. Manage external partners and collaboration with numerous internal departments

  • Establish and foster partnerships and relationships with key customers both externally and internally

6. Generate revenue according to forecast and growth plans

7. Assess the competitive landscape and institute changes to the sales program in response to competitor changes and industry standards

8. Cost management with a focus on trade spend management

9. Working knowledge of S&OP/demand planning process
