Position:HR Administrative Assistant

Company:Global AM 100 Law Firm

Comp Package:Base salary to $75K, Paid Overtime, Bonus, Full Benefits, 401K+, etc.

Location:Washington, D.C. (Hybrid WFH schedule)

Responsibilities for HR Administrative Assistant:

  • Assist with logistics for meetings, processing expense reports and department invoices, department filing, and distribution of department mail
  • Assist with the onboarding process including the preparation and administration of all related paperwork, packets, new employee folders, and scheduling of new hire orientation
  • Assist with work coordination processes by collecting and compiling work reports, creating reports and providing general support, as needed
  • Coordinate calendar invitations, room setup and logistics for training programs and department and associate meetings
  • Assist the CHRO and team members in the implementation of practice area and firm-wide training curricula, including coordination of logistics in collaboration with the IT and other departments
  • Monitors the completion of all mandatory computer-based training modules, follows up as necessary to ensure compliance
  • Maintains the Human Resources Department calendar of events and Human Resources Department Outlook calendar
  • Collaborates with the Human Resources Team in the coordination of various Human Resources Department sponsored events
  • Provides project support to the Human Resources professionals, assists with other department functions, and performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications for HR Administrative Assistant:

  • 3+ years of administrative or secretarial experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Must be able to work directly with employees at all levels
  • Excellent listening skills with strong follow-up skills
  • Familiarity with or ability to learn human resources terminology and procedures
