Job Description Provide first level maintenance and 24/7 Surveillance of Fixed Core, Transport and Access Networks including relevant OSS, Backend Systems, Ancillary facilities and Environmental support systems necessary for the delivery of existing and future services using Network Management Systems and Operational Support tools within its respective coverage based on geographic area and/or type of network.

Proactively monitor network and KPI threshold crossing alarms and endorse dispatch to appropriate resolving teams. Supply information for broadcast to communications management. Does (The tasks /responsibilities that the role performs to address requirements in Key Result

Areas) Fault Management 1. Performs first level troubleshooting of trouble tickets for outages and quality impacting alarms 2. Ensures ticket is issued and assigned to appropriate section.

3. Monitors clearing and assures timely closure of ticket. 4. Performs vertical and horizontal escalations during instances of network outages or degradations in the region. 5. Provides regulars and timely information on the status of resolution of outages and quality degradation.

6. Flags the section if ongoing restorations is at risk of meeting restoration standards. 7. Addresses service issues and assures their resolution is implemented. 8. Performs service restoration activities such as resetting, rehoming and rerouting when outages or degradation occur Displays (The Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviors indicating how tasks/responsibilities will be performed)

1. Intermediate fundamentals in Wireline & Wireless Access and Transport 2. Systems Thinking (seeing the whole and seeing the interrelationships among inter dependent systems) 3. Communication Skills
