The Plant Manager is responsible for the effective and efficient overall end-to-end manufacturing operations, especially in producing the right quantity and quality of products, at the right time, and at the least production cost.

  • Initiates cost and process improvements (lean manufacturing) in the Plant and coordinates these changes and improvements to other departments for alignment.
  • Reviews and approves the production schedule and manpower complement to meet the production volume target; recommends major changes to adapt to business requirements.
  • Initiates planning for facilities and equipment upgrading of the plant and recommends to management the approval of necessary tools, equipment, or facilities for the plant’s improvement.
  • Ensures proper utilization of resources, such as, but not limited to manpower, raw materials, utilities, tools, equipment, and operating supplies.
  • Ensures that deviations from standards and processes are analyzed and addressed immediately, and actions reviewed to prevent recurrence.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College graduate of any 4-year course, preferably Food Technology or any Engineering course.
  • With more than5 years experience in Manufacturingin multi-national corporations, local top manufacturing companies or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong planning, organizing, decision-making, problem and potential problem analysis, analytical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Advance computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office).
  • Must be willingto work in Cebu.
