THE JOB: Responsible for incoming local motorcycle parts inspection to ensure adherence to established quality standards. Validates supplier action items on quality issues raised during inspieciton of incoming parts and actual production. Gather and evaluate related quality control data as a tool for product improvement. In-charge of maintenance and calibration of Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and other metrology equipment. Conducts quarterly inventory of tools and equipment. Conducts defect analysis and initiates immediate and long range countermeasures.

THE DESIRED CANDIDATES:

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any four-year related course

• Has relevant work experience in Quality Control or Inspection in a manufacturing set-up and with background in supplier management in an ISO certified company

•Has working knowledge of inspection and measuring instruments and equipment such as caliper, gauge and other precision equipment

• Has exposure in reading and interpreting technical drawings

• With background in statistical process control (SPC) and or QC Tools such as control charts, fish bone diagram and histogram

• Familiar with basic Microsoft office applications

•Valid driver’s license holder
