Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

As an SDET in our team, you will contribute to engineering efforts to solve complex engineering problems in tools and testing. You will design, create, and execute test strategies, write moderately complex code and create test harnesses so developers can test their own code. As an SDET, you will identify weak spots and constantly design better and creative ways to break software and identify potential problems. You will use your knowledge to influence better software design, promote proper engineering practice, bug prevention strategies, testability, accessibility, privacy, and other advanced quality concepts for our products. You’ll have a huge impact on the quality of our growing suite of products and services as we continue our journey to modernize our technology to a cloud-first eco-system.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • Deep knowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans and test cases, and debugging
  • Experience in building test automation solutions, automated frameworks
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Java, Java test libraries and tools used for UI and API test automation
  • Experience with tools such as GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Sonar
  • Experience with at least one cloud platform, preferably AWS or GCP

Although not required, experience in the following will be highly valued:
  • Experience in Serenity BDD in Java, Applitools, Selenium, or Jest
