Summary

Sr / Director of Corporate Communications will be responsible for the Regional communications strategy, development and delivery of a broad range of corporate and marketing communications, thought leadership and public relations activities relative to the strategic direction and positioning of the market, company, services and its leadership.

This individual will be an ambassador for the organization and will need to build relationships with the media, influencers and internal and external stakeholders. This leader will oversee– public relations, influencer relations and all social marketing for the company.

Previous experience at mid - large multinational BPO companies is very much preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Create a communications/public relations strategy that will allow the organization to cultivate and enhance meaningful relationships with targeted, high-level external audiences, including the media and key influencers in the industry.

• Represent company’s leadership and services to external parties

• Act as a key POC for the company with partners, trade associations, allies, and industry influencers

• Provide ongoing strategic consulting for senior executives and key stakeholders

• Write/edit complex and/or sensitive communications to support business goals enhancing the reputation of the company

• Drive earned media and publicity around corporate promotional events.

• Develop and maintain external communications channels and industry relationships in the Philippines that support strategic business objectives.

• Develop and manage event calendars, conference attendance plan, and briefings for senior level team prior to conference speaking engagements.

• Manage crisis management and reactive media relations communication needs

• Contribute to corporate or group-wide work streams and/or initiatives as needed

• Works closely with Global corporate communications for consistency in branding, corporate strategic goals and positioning in the region

Market Skills and Certifications needed

• Must have completed a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Communications, Media or other related discipline

• Professional certificates in communications/digital communications related degree (preferred)

• Candidates must have at least 10 years of overall experience in Corporate Communication with at least 4 to 5 years’ experience in senior role

• Extensive and successful writing and editing experience (externally and internal both) with a variety of print and online communications media

• Established ability to build and cultivate relationships, and influence strategies and techniques for high level corporate executives, community leaders, and diverse constituents

• Strong experience in corporate/marketing communications management and media relations; exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• Experience building, implementing and evaluating effective communications plans

• Excellent and persuasive communicator

• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented, collaborative environment

• Excellent judgment and good decision-making ability in complex ambiguous situations and exposure to a crisis communication management

• Brand knowledge and management
