Your role will require you to:

  • Oversees suppliers for the manufacture of products, ensuring production, performance, and quality standards are consistently met
  • Identify and realize performance improvement opportunities for quality, yield, throughput, and other cost factors relating to assembly and incoming materials
  • Assists with long-range operating goals, expansion efforts, and implementation of new and advanced technology.Support in customized manufacturing setups
  • Facilitate and supervise new R&D project transition to manufacturing processes
  • Travelling in the Asia region and occasional to Europe when needed
  • Select and establish new suppliers for ramp up when required

Qualifications:

  • M.Sc. in Manufacturing Engineering in the relevant fields. Lower education degree can be compensated by relevant experience
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering (production site)
  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing processes and experience from assembly and test preferably within the field of Optics, camera or optical sensor packaging
  • Good understanding and experience in managing ramp-ups
  • Experience working with subcontractors and coaching hands-on teams to success
  • Understanding of quality control procedures
  • Fluent English
