  • Direct, coordinate and supervise all Hotel Sales and Marketing functions and personnel involved.
  • To meet and exceed Hotel Financial Objectives established by the Company. Give clear guidance to Sales Managers in charge of all sales activities, departments and personnel involved in Sales and Marketing for the Hotel. Provides leadership to the day to day operations of the sales department, while maintaining focus on the company’s strategic goals.
  • Analyze sales statistics to determine business growth potential.
  • To closely liaise with other Executive Committee Members and work under the general guidance of the Hotel General Manager.
  • Establish performance goals for all Sales Managers and sales department employees, and monitors performance on a continual basis.
  • To oversee all hiring, training and firing of personnel involved in Sales and Marketing.
  • Develop and participate with the Senior Management, in the development of the Strategic Annual Sales and Marketing Plan.
  • Develop, maintain and improve business relations with all customers, clients and business partners of the Hotel.
  • To target and develop new markets and generate sales leads; initiate action plan to approach and secure new business opportunities.
  • Senior responsibility for all Trade Accounts Receivables. Monitors A/R aging on a proactive basis with his/her Staff, coordinates with Credit Manager and Accounts Receivables;
  • Initiate and Monitor Electronic distribution systems and channels, Client Database and develop and coordinate sales selling cycle and methodology.
  • Direct and oversee all the Hotel Marketing and Communications functions; plan and coordinate public affairs and communications efforts, to include public relations and community outreach.
  • To identify and develop new customers for Hotel products and services.
  • Research and develop strategies and plans which identify marketing and sales opportunities, for different market segments.
  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.
  • Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts, and coordinate the management of all other accounts.
  • Supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs.
  • Initiate and supervise national & international sales trips and tradeshows.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the General Manager or Resident Manager
