Come join the Lexmark UX team as we seek to create disruptive industry experiences. The Lexmark UX team drives innovation through empathy, creative ideation, and cross functional collaboration. The successful candidate will be working within the global UX team to strategize and drive innovative and meaningful experiences across different platforms. This role will be championing the voice of the user – from generating user insights, translating insights into feature requirements, conducting thorough evaluations, and communicating findings to stakeholders. A creative and strategic approach to research, an effective collaboration with cross functional teams, a strong understanding of the Lexmark portfolio, and a passion for continuous improvement will be critical in ensuring personal and team success in this role.
Roles and Responsibilities:• Partner with stakeholders to understand research needs and develop research plans from complex technical and business requirements
• Work closely with design, development, marketing, program management, customer experience, and data science teams to develop a deep understanding of our customers to inform and influence the product roadmap and business strategy
• Consider the end-to-end user experience that spans product onboarding, usage, and support
• Pull from a broad portfolio of research methods and techniques from generative to evaluative to drive product and design decisions throughout the entire product cycle
• Create research materials including screeners, guides, and scripts
• Collect and analyze user behavior through lab studies, field visits, ethnography, surveys, benchmark studies, server logs and online experiments
• Design, execute, and analyze qualitative and quantitative research to deliver insightful and actionable results
• Communicate research findings in clear and compelling ways to all levels of the product team, with the ability to explain methodology, insights, and design recommendations
• Stay current on market trends, competitor products, relevant published literature, and UI/ UX/human factors research strategies
• Effectively prioritize and fluidly transition between a wide range of concurrent projects
• Contribute to the formation of research culture across the organization
• Mentor and provide feedback to UX and other design team members around effective research methods
• Inspire team members with technical and professional guidance on career development
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within and across the team(s)

• Bachelor’s degree holder
• Experience in UX, Usability, Human Factors Interaction, Psychology, or related discipline is an advantage
• At least 2 years of experience in a research role in a technology company is preferred
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with and across various groups and levels of management within the organization
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills to drive impact
• Strong analytical and strategic mindset
• Highly creative and see opportunities vs. problems
• Knowledgeable about usability and principles of effective design
• Demonstrable portfolio of work examples
Key Skills• Experience in UX, Usability, Human Factors Interaction, Psychology, or related discipline is an advantage

• Proficiency in creating and using personas, user journeys, task-flows, mock-ups, wireframes, prototypes, or other relevant design artifacts to push the design agenda and advocate for the customer during the development process
• Exceptional at empathic listening, perceiving users’ needs, delivering an unbiased view of users, and translating user insights into action items for product teams
• Strong understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during
